The Gold Coast whale watching season is that amazing time of the year – from June through to November – when Life’s Good offers private Whale Watching unlike any others.
The Gold Coast is a marine playground for these beautiful mammals and the whales are usually travelling from Antarctica to the warm waters of tropical Queensland and beyond. Passing through the Gold Coast this is a trip you don’t want to miss. Catering for up to 8 people on your own private and luxurious catamaran is the ideal way to Whale Spot!!!

These giant mammals are migrating north to sub-tropical waters where they mate and give birth. Because historically each year their timing is spot on during these months, you’re always almost guaranteed sightings. Life’s Good departs daily during the migrating season.

Whale Watching cruise on ‘Life’s Good’ – a luxury powerful power catamaran – will provide you with a very private journey. The cruise through the Seaway and out to watch the whales can be done at a fast speed thanks to the powerful twin 236 HP turbo engines. This makes for more time to spend with the whales and other marine life. Life’s Good is a wide catamaran (two hulls) which is more comfortable than most. Once we are out on the ocean we can turn off the engines and just watch the marine life, have lunch and drinks and enjoy the experience.

Enjoy the view back to the Gold Coast high rises or gaze across the miles and miles of ocean. Just soak up the experiences as they are unbelievable! On ‘Life’s Good’ we have a Fusion iPod docking station with speakers on the fly-bridge, saloon and back deck that can be individually controlled for your personal music taste. The facilities in this magnificent catamaran will ensure your comfort and enjoyment.

Comprising mainly of Australian Humpbacks, the whales are great for viewing as they enjoy showing off to an audience, including splashing and tail slapping. The best sight of all is a full breach when they leap completely out of the water.

Capacity: Can carry up to 8 guests offshore for your private Whale Watching adventure on the Gold Coast. Can carry up to 25 guests inshore.

Food: BYO, bring your own food, or choose any caterer of your choice. Our bbq use is $60 or catering can be arranged.

Drinks: BYO, bring your own drinks and ice, eskie supplied – no red wind and no spirit bottles allowed, only pre-mixed spirits in bottles or cans is ok.

Price: $600 per hour (minimum 3 hour hire for a whale watching cruise – if paying by credit cards a 1.5% card fee applies)
