Gold Coast Charter Boat BACCHUS is a luxury 62 foot thoroughbred amongst other charter boats. It is available for bucks/hens cruise on the Gold Coast Broadwater – one of the world’s most magnificent waterways. Bacchus can accommodate 47 day passengers. “Bacchus” – named after the Roman God of Wine – has been operating a wide range of Bucks and Hens Boat Charters on the Gold Coast for over a decade.

She is designed, equipped and professionally operated to the highest standard. The salon and outer decks, including the back BBQ Beer Garden and the bow Sky Lounge, are multipurpose separate spaces for large and small groups. The ‘flybridge’ provides spectacular views behind the capable hands of our experienced skipper.

It has a full kitchen with oven and microwave to enable an enjoyable meal onboard. Special facilities include an expert sound system, BBQ, an ice machine, a new floating mat and a water trampoline (at extra cost).

The vast bow area has recently been refitted into a sky lounge with seats – great for outside cruising in the Gold Coast sun or to relax in at night. We’ve christened it the “Sky Lounge’ for a reason. You can take in 360-degree views of the Gold Coast, from Sea World, Southport, the high-rises in Surfers Paradise all the way to Moreton Island.

The unique and brand new Sky Lounge has padded seating for 8 people plus plenty of deck space to stand or sit on the raised bow tops. A handy table has been added so you can enjoy a casual lunch ‘al fresco’ under the Queensland sun.

The Back Deck leads to everything else on the MV Bacchus. From here you can walk around to the bow Sky Lounge, go downstairs to the BBQ Beer Garden, climb up and join the Skipper on the Flybridge or pop inside to the Salon for some quiet time.

The Back Deck has the following facilities

Completely wind and water-proof should it rain

From the back deck, descend the stairs to the new BBQ Beer Garden.

The newly added Beer Garden has BBQ facilities for casual entertaining.

The BBQs are free for use if you inform us in advance so we can prepare them for you. You can bring your own steaks and snags and fire up the BBQs. We can provide a BBQ Chef to save the host slaving over a hot stove for $200.

We can provide Gourmet BBQ food for you – including 2 types of sausages, 2 meat kebabs, 3 gourmet salads and a selection of breads and condiments at $29 per head.

Prawn Frenzy – Fresh from the local waters and straight off the trawler to your plate! For $40 a kilo, we buy in 3-kilo lots. Don’t forget the seafood sauce and the tartare! Eat them fresh or make a prawn salad. You can always throw a few on the barbie as well.

From the back deck, you can also walk up the stairs to the flybridge.

On the flybridge, relax and take in the Skyline while you chat to our Skipper. There is plenty of seating for up to 10 passengers.

The salon is a classy but friendly zone where you may chill on the leather lounge and share drinks and grazing plates with friends.

The full kitchen has everything you may need to cook and serve your BBQ lunch or casual dinner onboard. There is no need for plastic plates and cups or utensils as we have you covered with quality cutlery, melamine dishes, platters and bowls.

Bacchus has 2 double beds and a few single beds. Day cruise guests are also welcomed to use them.

Bucks & Hens Parties

Baachus is a spacious boat suitable for all kinds of hens and bucks parties

MV Bacchus is the perfect yacht for Bucks/Hens water fun. You can also opt to stop by for a swim if your cruise is at least 4 hours long.

If your cruise is at least 6 hours long, the special trampoline can be deployed at extra cost ($50 per hour). The swimming mat and inflatables are free for use.

Special Water Trampoline Fun Day (up to 40 guests): $5500 for 7 hours.
Includes lifeguards and additional staff for floatation inflation. BBQ included for all passengers. Additional $400 for 41 to 47 guests.

8:30am to 3:30pm for Friday or Saturday.
9:00am to 4:00pm for weekdays and Sunday

The Joy of Bacchus

Equipment: Flippers, snorkels, floaties and float mats free for use. Trampoline is at extra cost.

Capacity: Can carry up to 47 day guests.

Location: Arm C, Berth 64, Mariners Cove Marina, 60 Seaworld Drive, Main Beach, Qld.

Drinks: BYO drinks.

Red wine or full bottles of spirits with separate mixers are not permitted but any beers, wines or pre-mixes in cans or bottles like Canadian Club or Vodka Cruiser are fine. We provide the ice and have several fridges, a large freezer and ice buckets as required.

Food:- choices (separate to the boat price) –

BYO your own food, BBQ free to use on the boat, BYO everything you need ( eg, plastic plates, etc) or we can supply plates, glasses and cutlery. Cook yourself or for $200 we can provide a deckhand to do it for you.
Organize any caterer of your own choice.

We can do the following catering for you:

(a) Cheese Platter – to serve 10-12 people $150

Enjoy a selection of gourmet cheeses, dips, fruits, nuts and crackers.

(b) Hot Nibbles Platter – to serve 10-12 people $150

A variety of small, hot pastries such as party pies and sausage rolls, meatballs spinach/cheese filled pastry bites, meatballs etc. Dipping sauces provided. Vegan/vegetarian options available on request.

(d) Loaded Wedges Platter – to serve 10-12 people $50

A heaping plate of piping hot potato wedges loaded with cheese, sweet chilli sauce, sour cream and garnished with herbs.
