Discovery Fishing Gold Coast

Discovery Fishing Boat is a legendary 34 foot Kevlacat that is high speed, comfortable, stable and functional. She is powered by 2 x 250hp motors, travelling at 30 knots, surveyed for up to 10 guests. Perfect for your Gold Coast deep sea fishing or fishing in the Broadwater.  Get to the offshore fishing spots faster in our high-speed boat.

Protected from rain with full covered roof and roil down clears at the side, it also has comfortable cushioned seating; guests can be seated while fishing and not be in the way of other anglers.  We also have an enclosed toilet onboard.

Our friendly team will demonstrate the most effective techniques for catching various fish species such as snapper, jewfish, cobia, sampson fish, marlin, tuna, mackerel, sailfish, tusk fish, etc.  We supplied the right gear and baits to get the job done.  Come and enjoy a fishing trip with us whether you are an experienced angler or don’t know the difference between a marlin and a mackerel.  No matter your age, gender or experience level, we will provide an unforgettable experience.

Twilight Fishing (Max 8 persons)

We normally depart early morning at 6am for our fishing trips, but we also do twilight fishing departing at 4:30pm.  It is a great fishing experience under the full moon.  You will not only enjoy yourself but also catch a feed!  Our team will gut and gill legal fish for you to bring home all ready to cook.

Bucks Party Fishing

A Fishing Charter is a great way for you to kick off your weekend of bucks party celebrations. We suggest either 5 hour deep sea fishing trips or 3-4 hour calm Broadwater cruises for your bucks party.  On this boat, we can cater for groups of up to 10 people but if you have more people, we can do it over 2 or 3 boats for a great day out of bonding and fishing.  Combining our boats, we can cater for a maximum of  30 (deep sea) or 45 (calm water) people.

The following prices are for Monday to Sunday every day of the year.

Inclusions: Bait, tackle, rods, reels, cold bottled water, along with a friendly skipper and deckhand onboard who are happy to help out as much as you need. You can BYO food and drinks.

(1) Shared Charter prices for 5 hours:
1/2 day (either 5:30am to 10:30am or 11am to 4pm)

• $160 per person for 5-hour fishing charter (aged 10+)
• $220 per person for 7-hour fishing charter (aged 10+)
• $270 per person for 9-hour fishing charter (aged 10+)

(2a) Private charter prices for 5 hours (max 10 pax):

Cancellation Policy

• Only the captain may cancel a charter prior to departure due to poor weather, in this case you may re book for another day or receive a full refund.
• If you cancel giving at least 7 days notice prior to the Charter then we can give you a refund or reschedule, any cancellations where we don’t receive at least 7 days notice no refunds will be given.
• Any cancellations or “no shows” will forfeit their payment.
