Fat Hooker Gold Coast

Fat Hooker is a high quality 41-foot (12m) fibreglass boat that is one of the bigger deep sea fishing vessel operating out of Gold Coast.  She is stable and comfortable, powered by a 425hp Cummins diesel.  Fully insured and legally surveyed for a max of 18 people (for parties / fishing in calm waters) or 16 people (offshore fishing).

Fat Hooker is suitable for bucks parties as well as a big range of charters, including half and full-day deep sea fishing trips, calm water fishing trips, whale watching, bird watching, movie shoots and other commercial uses.

For deep sea fishing, we head out through the Seaway to the offshore fishing grounds for a great time of Gold Coast reef and game fishing.  Our friendly and experienced skipper and deckhand will show you the best techniques for catching a wide variety of fish species, including cobia, mackerel, marlin, traq, tusk fish, snapper, jewfish, tuna, trevally, etc.

(1) Shared Charter price:
1/2 day (either 6am to 11am or 11am to 4pm)  $170 per person

(2a) Private charter prices (Deepsea Fishing up to 16 people)

Unlimited bottled water is supplied on all charters.

Optional Catering: Catering can be supplied for private charters only.

Catering Price:    $300 (up to 16 people) or $350 (up to 18 people).

Catering Menu: (can be slightly changed, depending on stock)

Breakfast Package: Ham rolls, fruit juice, muffin/cake bars or muesli bars, cheese, cabanossi and crackers.

Lunch Package: Chicken pieces, cold meat rolls, salad, seasonal fruit, cheese, cabanossi and crackers.

Note that the boat does not live here permanently, it’s a public pickup jetty, please wait at top of jetty ramp.
