A rare traditional timber yacht built in QLD in 1975 and extensively refurbished in 2000, MV Baroness is exceptionally quiet and smooth. This big yacht provides you with a unique and outstanding venue for any corporate cruise, social event, wedding and birthday celebration or bucks & hens party. The maximum capacity is 135 people.
MV Baroness has 6 separate gathering/sitting areas including the Saloon, Upper Back Deck, Lower Back deck, Front Bow, Sky Lounge and Dance floor, making her the perfect choice for small and large groups alike. Her state-of-the-art features and facilities will ensure your party experience the very best in cruising luxury. It also has a superb audio-visual system (including a drop-down screen and a wireless mic) to facilitate special presentations or the screening of sports. There is a licensed bar as well as a commercial kitchen to cater to your party’s needs.

From the lounge, ascend to the dining area that can either accommodate a sit-down dinner or a stand-up cocktail party.
Upstairs is a very large sky lounge cum dance floor. Perfect for a wedding ceremony or a dance party.
The foredeck is spacious and easily accommodates 20-30 people.
There is a well-facilitated commercial kitchen that provides delicious onboard catering. There is a fridge and freezer and full kitchen with oven, microwave, ice machine and BBQ facilities for guests use. There is plenty of room to bring onboard professional caterers.
Down the stairs are well-appointed separate male and female bathrooms.
The audio-visual system is great for sporting events or a corporate presentation.

Time of Year – Firstly, know which time of the year you want to book a luxury boat charter on the Brisbane River. Weather plays a big part in the type of experience you are seeking. For instance, during peak summer, it’s often hot and humid, and rain can be frequent and heavy. During the winter, it is drier; however, the evenings can be cold. Fortunately, you don’t have to let the rain bother you too much. Our party boat in Brisbane has many indoor spaces for you to enjoy, and the Sun Room and spacious Saloon are completely weatherproof.
Food and Drinks – With our commercial-size kitchen, you can hire a caterer and enjoy professionally-prepared dishes. Or, you can throw some snacks on the BBQ and chat as you share a casual lunch together. We have all the platters, plates and cutlery you could possibly require, so there is no need to bring any plastic plates or utensils onboard during your luxury boat hire or yacht wedding.
Time of Day – Do you enjoy the sunset and the stars, or want a warm day for swimming and sunbathing on the bow of the MV Baroness? You may choose to enjoy the sunset with bubbly and light snacks to watch the lights of Brisbane City and sneak a peek inside the waterfront mansions as you cruise the river under the stars. The MV Baroness is well-lit for socialising under the stars, with twinkling bistro lights on the Bow and Back Deck.
Swimming – Only on a day trip to Moreton Bay can swimming be permitted. The size of the MV Baroness makes it difficult to anchor too close to land, so swimmers must be proficient. The MV Baroness has a swim mat onboard and a range of flotation toys for guests to enjoy. There is also a HUGE water Trampoline available.
