Jacana Party Boat Gold Coast

Gold Coast Sailing Charter Boat Jacana is a 39 ft (11.89 meter) Maxim 380 catamaran built in S Africa by Alex Simonis.   She is a fun and safe powered sailing catamaran that can accommodate a maximum of 20 day passengers.  So it is your choice to take a 1-hour or a several-hour day cruise of fun or relaxing adventure onboard Jacana or to stay overnight.

Jacana offers a very stable sail, making it easy to walk around the deck or sit comfortably up the front of the boat for a smooth trip. Whether it’s a one-hour tour viewing the multi-million- dollar homes of the Sovereign Islands or an extended sailing tour for dolphin and sea-life watching, island visiting or dropping the anchor for a swim, this will be a memorable experience. There is a large swim platform at rear with step down to a ladder for water access.

Forward trampolines have room for at 20 people

Jacana has a comfortable and accessible galley benchtop freezer with twin door fridge below.  Galley lounge seating has recently been refitted and like brand new.

One Hour Sailing Tour

In one hour you could sail from the Runaway Bay Marina past Ephraim Island. Take in the luxury homes cruising the canals of The Sovereign Islands. Relax at the front of the boat with a glass of champagne. Return an hour later to the Marina.

Three Hour Sailing Tour

Take in the sights as we circumnavigate the Broadwater. Sail down around Wavebreak Island and then along South Stradbroke Island. Cruise past the luxury homes of The Sovereign Islands, and sail along the coastline past Runaway Bay.

Occasion Cruise

Gather together your family and friends for a fun group cruise. Celebrate a birthday, engagement, anniversary or even a special proposal.

South Stradbroke Island Lunch Cruise

Lunch on board the boat or tie up and eat at one of the restaurants (eg. Tippler Licensed café) on South Stradbroke Island.

Romantic Cruise

Take that special someone in your life for a romantic, sunset cruise. Sit up the front of the boat and sip champagne whilst you glide along. Just the two of you.

Sanctuary Cove Restaurant Sailing Cruise

Set sail from Runaway Bay Marina and cruise up the Coomera River. Relax at the front of the boat whilst sipping champagne and enjoying the scenery. Lunch at Sanctuary Cove at one of the fine restaurants, whilst your catamaran awaits. Sail back home satisfied and relaxed.

Wavebreak Island Swimming

We can anchor very close to the beach of Wavebreak Island if you like to swim. We can provide 2 boogie boards, 2 sets of snorkel goggles and flippers.

Tailor A Cruise

We can tailor make the cruise to suit you or your group. Go where you want to go. Stop for a swim or picnic, or beach walk. We can anchor anywhere that suits you.

Capacity: Can carry up to 20 guests.

Food & Drinks :

BYO food and drinks. We can supply ice, plates & cutlery or you can BYO disposable plates and cutlery. A large esky is available for your drinks.
